Lyrics - Sometimes I feel like life's a movie, a film so groovy, yet undefined....And you and I are two celluloid hero's, a couple of weirdos, living our lives.... All my life I've waited for you....for you to come true and be mine... All those days out on the highroad, taking life so slow just passing time... And what is up and what is down? What is up and what is down... Seeing people round the town being people round the town... And it feels like home, yes it feels like home... And now I'm thinking of a place where we first met, all those years ago, we make the make believe and it gets better yet, oh don't ya know....Cause it feels like home, yes it feels like home... Mrs. Rock and Roll ya got me spinning, lets stay the day in and just get wild...Your pretty eyes have got me thinking I must be dreaming that your mine... All my life I waited for you....for you to come true and be mine... All those days out on the backroads just going so slow taking our time... And what is up and what is down? Them ole wheels keep turning round, doing the two-step round the town, and it feels like home, cause it feels like home... I want to be with you all my life, I want to be with you, you make my dreams come true, I wanna be, cause it feels like home, yes it feels like home....

about

Recorded between summer 2019 and spring 2020, SubConscious Cortex Stimulator is the 5th release from CJH and the third Mental Pictures/Lost At The Controls CD release. The album is a warm, cerebral ride through a variety of mental / emotional landscapes that take the listener on a bit of a mind-bending journey into the innerself and ones place/role in the outer world. originating from the concept of all the world being a stage and every one having a chance to play their own role the music provides the vehicle for my trippy, thought-provoking lyrics. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much I enjoyed making it.
